А я вам скажу, почему "очень довольны теплым приемом Crysis со стороны игроков и прессы". Потому что они нам в руки дали весьма и весьма классную демку. Только мы ведь не ожидали, что далее игра = тупое унылое говно с плоским и дебильным сюжетом. До самой задницы ваш "специально приглашенный сценарист из Голливуда", если игра несбалансированная и глючная(физика колижна отстойная, как бы они там про ее идеальность не пели). В том же Сталкере и сюжет глубже, и боевка сбалансированная, и я, скрепя душу и плюя на баги, играл и играл.

The game starts with Sergeant Michael 'Psycho' Sykes leaving the bay where the destroyer from Crysis just exploded and he is seen moving through the jungle before jumping onto a U.S. Army truck. The camera then zooms out the reflection of a pair of black glasses that belong to a Korean-Nanosuit donning Politician General. The convoy is ambushed by KPA and the truck is overturned. Psycho and a group of marines fight till night where a VTOL arrives to evac them but one of it's engines get damaged and it crashes, apparently cracking the camera's lens and displaying the word 'CRYSIS WARHEAD'.
The game continues a sentence that states that this was a recording four years old. It transmits a conversation with Psycho and Brian O'Neill. The level 'Call me Ishmael' then loads. It switches to a cutscene with Psycho pulling a soldier from the VTOL seat and exiting the VTOL and a marine instructing him to get cover in the ridge. When a wall which you must crouch under is reached, a soldier says that they will hold them back, this is where the solo play starts. The ridge is practically a refresher course, with the first crouch and a jump and a strength jump before a burning village is reached. A cut scene plays where an alien thing crashes right next to Sykes, disabling his suit so that Emerson doesn't get a reading and when she does, she tells Psycho that he was hit by an EMP. After Psycho wakes, he continues on foot towards a KPA base, ordered to gather intelligence on the way in. The level ends with Psycho taking out a KPA base at the beach where a cutscene plays, showing Sierra 2 (O'Neill) getting chased by two KPA aircraft. Eventually they fire upon O'Neill, causing him to crash.
The next level is called 'Shore Leave' loads. Psycho has to get a disk located in the ejection seat of the plane because Brian has captured some pictures of a nuclear casing at a dock. There is some KPA to fight off, both on the way to and at the crash site. The ejection seat is found right next to the plane. After retrieving the disk, Psycho defies direct orders to track the container, and instead goes to rescue Brian O'Neill. Jumping onto a ridge about four metres high, Psycho meets Brian in a pilot suit, they chat having seemingly known each other for a long time. Psycho sees the dock from there and a 20th century cargo submarine, a gift from the soviets to the KPA last century, arriving at the dock. Psycho proceeds to knock out an unarmed guard who was urinating while guarding two vehicles. O'Neill takes the Jeep and Psycho takes the Scout Car. Psycho then makes his way to the rendezvous point to meet a VTOL but a KPA chopper damages one of its engines so that the VTOL lands a distance away. After getting to the VTOL and fending off the incoming KPA offensive, Psycho is given the orders to infiltrate the dock and track the submarine before it delivers its cargo instead of evacuating by the VTOL. Brian gives you some cover at the dock where you can get the FLG-40, a KPA grenade launcher. You get on the submarine and a cut scene plays. You find a clipboard with a biohazard sign on it hanging on the casing. Beside it, another casing holds a gigantic block of ice with a live alien inside. An EMP blast from the alien knocks Psycho out. He is found by a KPA soldier, and is already tied up when he wakes up. He meets the politician general. He speaks English and adjust Psycho's nanosuit so that he is in pain. Psycho says that he is a POW but the politician general says that a nanosuit does not apply and leaves a soldier to finish Psycho off. He holds a pistol at him and just before he shoots, a soldier at the fire doors starts screaming at waving his hands. He freezes and turns light blue so does the other soldier holding the pistol. Psycho uses strength mode to break free and pulls down his mask and dives to the ground.
'Adapt or Perish' is the next level and mainly sets you running after general Lee, who has the frozen alien. When you lose track of him and meet another nano-suit team, you lead them to a tunnel where an alien exosuit same to the one in the last level of Cryss appears and you have to take it down, after taking it down, you go through the tunnel and thats the end of this level.
'Frozen Paradise' starts with you in the tunnel, still pursuing general Lee. First you must kill several snipers on the frozen carrier. after that you have to enter the carrier and make your way out the other side. Once on the other side, you spot general Lee and some KPA nano guys fighting aliens. When you reach the cave, you hear prophet say 'I'm gonna die if I don't get out of this ice' but he does not receive Pyscho's message. The nanosuit team earlier informs you the Eagle team got ambushed but there is an escape through and abandoned mine. Exiting the cave, you come across some aliens around a factory when emerson asks you to monitor them. It lifts a truck weighing hundreds of pounds with some anti-gravity ray.

OMG, я не понимаю, как кто-то может терпеть кривой колижн, танки-попрыгунчики и колоссальные толпы врагов(Serious Sam разве что в этом плане "круче").

Хотя, если вы сообщите, что там корейцев меньше, чем пятьдесят человек на квадратный метр, а в сценарии минимум пафоса, то, возможно, поиграю и, возможно, изменю свое мнение.
